DBT Groups in Los Angeles

Skills Groups and Graduate Groups for adults and teens

Who This is For

You know you want to be doing things differently, you’re just not sure what that looks like. You want to set boundaries, but the guilt is overwhelming and you can’t find the words. You want to keep a level head for a difficult conversation, but your emotions get better of you despite your clear intentions.

DBT groups offer you a space to learn tactical skills for regulating emotions, surviving crisis moments, and strengthening relationships.

What I Offer

I offer DBT skills groups and DBT graduate groups, with adult and teen options available for both. Current availability and start dates are listed below, but please feel free to reach out regardless, as occasionally spots open up in groups that are already running.

  • DBT skills groups for adults cover the four core DBT modules: mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness (see below for more details on each module).

Completing the full skills curriculum takes 6 months, though I offer options to complete just one module at a time, based on your needs.

Next Cohort Starts: May 2026, Mondays at 5:30pm, Virtual (California)

  • For graduates of a DBT program, DBT graduate groups offer peer and clinician support as you continue to build your life worth living.

Participants join groups on a month to month basis, with an initial commitment of three months in order to support integration into the group and group cohesion.

Rates are $125/group (reach out to inquire about sliding scale options if needed)

Next Adult Grad Group Cohort Starts: March 2026, Tuesdays at 5:30pm, In-Person in Beverly Hills

  • DBT skills groups for teens cover five core DBT modules: mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, and walking the middle path (see below for more details on each module).

Completing the full skills curriculum takes 6 months, though most teens typically complete a full year of skills training.

Parents of teens in skills groups typically complete skills training as well. While most parents opt to do one on one coaching sessions, which offer a more tailored experience, you may also join an adult DBT group instead.

Next Teen Skills Cohort Starts: June 2026, Wednesdays at 5:30pm, In-Person in Beverly Hills

  • Teens who have completed a DBT program, but would still benefit from a moderated social environment in which to practice skills and connect with peers, may benefit from a teen grad group.

Participants join groups on a month to month basis, with an initial commitment of three months in order to support integration into the group and group cohesion.

Rates are $125/group (reach out to inquire about sliding scale options if needed)

Next Teen Grad Group Cohort Starts: May 2026, Tuesdays at 5:30pm, In-Person in Beverly Hills
